RapidLash

I know mascara is the one beauty item I can't live without - in the past I have tried eyelash extensions (too expensive to maintain), false lashes (too fiddly) and vitamins and supplements (they just don't work...).

So when I came across Rapid lash I thought, cynically to myself, this isn't going to work, it's another fad for long eyelashes... yet I found myself parting with the cash to try it anyway. It's like I physically can't help myself when it comes to eyelash products.

There is about 4-5 weeks worth of product per purchase

Now, I don't have short eyelashes but they are fair and not as thick as I'd like... so this seemed like a good idea. you put it on every evening after you remove your make-up and every morning before you apply it. Basically it works by stopping your other eyelashes falling out as often as they should.

I've read that we lose at least 1-3 eyelashes a day, and for girls because we are constantly applying and removing make-up, this does not surprise me.

So I tried this and i have to say within a 2 weeks of putting this serum on every evening after taking my eye make-up off, my lashes were evidently longer and fuller.

I got my mum to try this product too as her lashes are very short and fine and you could notice a decent different with her eyelashes. She also hilariously put it on her eyebrows - they are basically non-existent from over plucking as an air stewardess in the 1970s - and.. believe it or not it worked!

Rapid lash also do a specialised serum for eyebrows too called Rapid Brow, so check that out too if your eyebrows need a little thickening.

There are other options to Rapid Lash (£41.00 from Boots) on the market including Latisse and cheaper alternatives like Peptalash (£24.99) from Indeed labs.
